The following applies to all participants attending Dark-Media LAN, you must sign in and pay the entry fee before entering the venue, you agree to the following rules and conditions of entry listed below;;
- No threats of physical violence (whether serious or otherwise).
- No speakers are allowed at the event, unless being used to amplify headphones
- No behaviour considered by the organizers to be disruptive to other players.
- No smoking inside any buildings or in proximity of the doors.
- No consumption of alcoholic beverages or illicit drugs is permitted.
- No DHCP servers allowed. This includes Internet Connection Sharing.
- No hacking or intentional network disruption there is zero tolerance for this behaviour and you will be removed.
- No cheating. This includes bots, hacks, or anything else that isn't strictly aboveboard.
- Wristbands provided on the night must be worn and visible at all time.
- No weapons or likenesses will be allowed inside the event area or on its grounds. This includes pellet guns, knives, air guns, and anything similar.
- One computer per person also dual screens are forbidden as we need as much room as possible for others.
- No refunds will be given after you have paid. Before paying, be sure you can attend the event.
- Please use default skins and textures if you can't connect to a server due to modifications please remove them.
- Clan Leaders are responsible for their team (i.e. getting them on the server in time when called to join a server).
- If your team is unable to be ready within 5 minutes of being called you will forfeit the match.
- You must own registered versions of all software. We do not provide support for games, Steam should be updated and off-line mode tested.
- You must configure your computer to automatically receive network settings (IP, etc.) from our network (DHCP).
- You may only connect a single network cable for your PC to our network infrastructure, bring a switch if you require more.
- The admin area is forbidden under no circumstances are participants to enter this area.
- Do not use or reconfigure another person's equipment without their express permission.
- Keep your area clean, you are responsible for leaving your area as clean as you found it.
- Neither Dark-Media nor its sponsors/staff assume any responsibility for any computer, laptop or other electronic device that is not directly owned by Dark-Media.
At any time and for any reason, we reserve the right to remove you from the event, with no refund (please use common sense) also if you break / damage any equipment (Including hall property, someone else's machine, or our network gear), you will be held responsible for repair / replacement costs.
