Dark-Media LAN was created in 2006, envisioned by a group of volunteers committed to serving our community by providing a safe atmosphere for lanners to gather and socialize through computer gaming.

From the conception of Dark-Media LAN, we have been dedicated to a fun and enjoyable LAN party experience for both players and staff alike in a drug and alcohol free environment.

We will host a collection of computer enthusiasts and hard-core video gamers for a 19-hour straight LANparty, with our combined efforts, this will be one of the largest computer gaming events in Tasmania.

The fabulous prizes, excellent staff of volunteers, excellent network, and overall atmosphere have given us a strong following. We have drawn participants from all over Tasmania, we also provide a cutting-edge infrastructure which makes your gaming experience one to remember.

Dark-Media LAN, is a strictly not-for-profit organization that relies on support from sponsors, volunteers and the Tasmanian community. All income generated by DM-LAN is used to pay for the running of each event, and any remaining revenue helps to fund future events to make each one bigger and better than the last!
